We are excited to return to Torquay on Saturday 11 April 2026 for the International Agatha Christie Festival's second Spring Gathering event. And we will be recording our second ever LIVE episode, all about a very special Picture of Agatha Christie...

'Tis the season... to think about Agatha Christie at Christmas!

We are so excited to visit the iconic Burgh Island Hotel on 14 December to talk about Christie at Christmas. Why not give yourself a Christmas treat and join us? Spaces are very limited but you can book in for afternoon tea or a whole stay. We can't guarantee snow, but we promise you'll have fun...

In November this year The Swinging Christies is going international!

We will be in Puerto de la Cruz for their fantastic Agatha Christie Festival. We will both be giving our own solo talks, and taking part in an 'Ask the Experts' panel, as well as a Swinging Christies event. Perhaps we might even find time to record an episode or two... In a Swinging Christies FIRST we will be recording a LIVE episode at the International Agatha Christie Festival on 19 Sept 2025! We will be discussing groovy graphics and cool covers - many of which you probably haven't seen before. Book your ticket here! Mark is also speaking about Witness for the Prosecution and we'll both be hosting a book club again - this time, it's Endless Night...

We are heading back to Torquay earlier than expected for a springtime gathering, a special one-day festival on Saturday 12 April 2025 packed with events and all capped off with the exciting unveiling of a new Agatha Christie statue! Tickets are moving and shaking quickly (or, indeed, swinging), so head to the website ASAP!

Mark is returning to Wallingford this year, taking part in their Agatha Christie weekend. On 6 September 2024 he'll be solving The Mysteries of Miss Marple, a potted history of the character with new trivia and rare images. You can book your ticket here!

In the run-up to the publication of his new Marple book in late summer, Mark will be speaking at a few events in June. He'll give a talk at Bodies from the Library at the British Library on 1 June 2024, and be in conversation at both Belfast Book Festival (11 June 2024) and Felixstowe Book Festival (29 June 2024).

Gray recently gave a talk for the excellent online project Romancing the Gothic, where he spoke about the parallel lives of Muriel Spark and Agatha Christie. You can still view it on YouTube here!

Mark and Gray attended the International Agatha Christie Festival 2023, where Mark spoke about the Margaret Rutherford films, and both got to visit Greenway for a special dinner on Christie's birthday.
